Hand Painted Portuguese Pottery Ceramic Basket
Painted in Portugal is this lattice styled basket with a handle on each end. A stunning peacock sits at the bottom of the basket and is portrayed as drinking from a puddle of water with flowers and leaves that surround.
Colors include yellow, burgundy, blue and green over a white background.
Marked on the underneath bottom base as "Outeiro Agueda, Portugal, Hand Painted" and marked with the number 66 which is an original marker by the painter.
Measures just under 10 inches in length by 5.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches in height.

Free of any chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
Colors are vivid and strong. The hand painting has been beautifully done with a few very minor imperfections due to the hand painted nature.
