Features Santa Claus on skis while pulling a sleigh with presents and a child behind him surrounded by Christmas trees over a white background. The center is left blank so that you can place your favorite Christmas centerpiece (the Hummel piece in the photo is not an actual part of the design).
Since this kit comes from Germany, almost all the words are in German and so I am unable to know if this kit includes the needles. The thread is present.
The only English word on the back is Anchor with the Anchor symbol other than "with 4 threads of stranded cotton." I am not sure of the year this was made since I do not see a year.
This is not made of plastic and the material is not bulky. I am not sure if this is a stamped or counted cross stitch kit. I did use Google to translate the German text into English, but it did not say one way or the other. Please make this purchase while keeping this in mind that it could be either.
