By Monet is this pair of 1980s pierced red enamel earrings in a gold tone metal. These are somewhat square with rich gold-tone detail and a deeper red color (somewhat deeper than what the pictures show).
Measures slightly under 1.25 inches square.
In beautiful condition
One of the earrings on the back has minimal loss of color. Matter of fact, I did not see this until after the pictures were taken.
For some reason when taking pictures on the front of the earrings, it looks as if there is gold tone loss (these areas look black). However, this is not the case and was just the way the camera was catching the light. I have taken a few extra pictures of the fronts to show that when taking the pictures from different angles, the black "color" changes.
There is no loss of gold tone on the fronts at all.
The red enamel is in excellent condition. I do not spot any scratches that I can see.
