Pair of Precious Vintage Brightly Colored Hand Painted and Handmade Mache Christmas Figurines
With eyes closed, heads extending forward and lips puckered out, both boy and girl are innocently awaiting a kiss.
They are in a dress with scattered flowers. One blond and one with brown hair. The girl has a collar. Their lips are puckered into the shape of a heart. Their paint has been nicely preserved under a clear finish, which is what helps to enhance their bright colors.
Originally, these had a Japan sticker which is no longer present.
Measure approximately 4.5 inches in height.
Made of a composite material.

The only real flaw I notice is that on the left side of the girl's cheek, there are a few tiny black dots.
Also, a tiny amount of missing paint to the very tip of their wings, hardly noticeable.
No cracks, crazing, chips or repairs.
